Have you ever hit a hole-in-one?
I did.
Let it be know that Alan Materna scored a hole-in-one on Sunday
March 15, 1998 (Ides of March). The temperature was approximately
59F, sunny skies, and calm winds. The "ace" occurred on
#17 at Centennial golf course in Oak Ridge, TN. The 170 yard shot
was hit with a 5 wood landing on the green 13 steps below the
hole and subsequently rolling gently into the cup. L. Goodwin and
J. Schlatter were witnesses.
